does anyone know if newer suburban props (55-72) are the same length as ADs i have the end brackets but no props.

Went to a car show Sunday, was fine scoping a 1940 Graham and when the owner opened the trunk, I saw the very same lift set-up as the AD Sub. The owner said it was stock ( he has 2 Grahams) but said it was a standard issue to many car companies and has found some on old wagons like Nash,Plym,Dodge,and the 49-57 Chevy wagons. He has found them in 2 different lengths, but had bought the longer one as a spare and cut it down for car # 2. I now recal seeing them on my wrecking yard trips, so look at all longroofs at the yards, not just the Sub..Jon

Thanks Jeeminy50 i guess when i go on vacation out of southern calif i know i can find some, you just cant find anything in the 70s or older in the yards any more around here. Your right my 47 chevy fleetmaster has one on the trunk.

Take a look at the "Chevs of the 40s" then, they may have the new part.Jon
