I have a 51 sub with only rust and paint left to do.running out time and money. hope this is something that I can do. | | | | Joined: Mar 2005 Posts: 267 Shop Shark | Shop Shark Joined: Mar 2005 Posts: 267 | jm having replaced the entire floor on my 53 panel i dont thik it's too expensive(i guess that is relative) or too hard. a good spot weld cutter is well worth the money as it get the cuts done in a quick. a good welder is required to put it back together.brace everything and have fun. tom

My question was... what are you going to use for replacement panels for the floor? Are there reproduction panels out there? and if so are there any for the rockers too for subs. and panels? Thanks and I'll try and click on the proper thing!! Ter | | | | Joined: Mar 2003 Posts: 1,132 Shop Shark | Shop Shark Joined: Mar 2003 Posts: 1,132 | JM I am not a welder or a bodyman by any stretch of the imagination but I stumbled through the replacement of my entire front floor and inner cowl panels plus part of the toeboard. All of the panels are available from most of the usual suppliers. No matter who you get the inner cowl panels from they won't fit very well. This was the only hard part of the whole thing. You can go to my site and see what I did to mine. Click on 'last uploads".
