That sounds like a pretty good score.

I found my rear valance from a guy who had one sitting in his airplane hanger. When I found that I thought I struck gold.

What's the rear valence look like? I have a 53 and a 54 truck and bought what I was told was a rear valence at a swap meet for $20.00. Any pics?

Tim

This is the holy grail -- windshield frame and crank, gas tank, orig seats, and floor pans for my 42 1/2 ton for $125.00. They look like they were on a shelf for the last 60 years. It was fun climbing thru the trees and over the old cars to get to this truck and pulling these parts.

That's what I got bigsix302. I bought a front bumper with splash apron that had a couple of pieces cut out of both ends and the rear splash apron for $25.00. Plus bumper brackets. Was this a panel truck only option? I've never seen one before and understtod they were aftermarket pieces. I just took a picture that I can post.

GOOD LOOKIN TRUCK bigsix302 gonna have to get me some pics up of mine. i got a bunch on an old digital camera but cannot find the cord or the software.i am jealous of where you are at,my panel was so much farther gone it has took two years to get where i,m at. istarted with a truck somebody else started ,then quit , most parts were lost and there was no floor front to back, nothing not even the wood.the entire bottom 12"has been replaced including the toe board. it will be (it is ) a matter of pride to bring the old girl back from junk.my wife is starting to see what i have seen all along.
