On my 59 longbed the original exhaust use to end on the passenger side. I know this only because of the original hanger. Ordered new exhaust from American Classic and it exits on the drivers side. Any thoughts please.
Thanks Bob

It seems like the 6&8 are on opposite sides. smile

They say money can't buy happiness. It can buy old Chevy trucks though. Same thing.

I'd be inclined to move the hanger over--easy way out--I got no explanation for the change.

i am not sure where the gas filler is on your 59 but on new cars and trucks the exhaust has to be on the other side for safety reason, eventho it is inconvienent. maybe the manufacture of the new has to comply with current laws.
