I just ordered a stock pedal brake booster/MC from CCP and was thinking about using air shocks to get a little lift. Has anyone put air shocks on a 59 or similar truck? If so do you have a part# for the shocks. I have a pair of gabriel high jackers on my 62 Nova and really like them. Are there any bad experiences to be shared regarding air shocks on these trucks?
Also my 454 is built and ready to go in and I want the biggest radiator I can fit please let me know if you can advise on one that will work well with the 454. I have spent enough on my stock unit getting it recored once and then repaired twice, that I could have bought a nice new aluminum one the first time. Cooling is the biggest problem most people have. Check with the vender links on this site or go buy a Street Rod Magazine and check the adds. That whole magazine is just about adds any more so you should beable to find something. Buy the biggest aliminum you can find and you will never have another problem with cooling. Joe | | |
