Mike Vee Wrench Fetcher M Joined: May 2005 Posts: 145 N.E. Ohio	I started the S10 frame project last weekend or the weekend before. It stinks when your job gets in the way, don't it? I completed part two today, which was initial fram stretch and test fit, etc. I realized that the S10 4.3 sit waay to far forward if the front tires are correctly positioned in the fneders. I'm pullit and putting in the 2001 picjup 4.8 engine as long as the 4.3 is coming out. Mike Vee Wrench Fetcher M Joined: May 2005 Posts: 145 N.E. Ohio	Good points Joe. I was really careful to disassemble the S10 harness etc, so it would all plug back in. The 4.8 LR4 is newer tech and would probably get the same milage while making more power, but it will require considerable more computer work and minor hardware I don't have yet. The V6 is much more of a ready-to-go package. "Lazy" could still win out on this one. <grin> I have a couple weeks until that decision, the way things are moving right now.
