For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 4 Junior Member | | Junior Member Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 4 | I have a 49 panel delivery that has the front window track broken loose at the bottum. Is this spotwelded in that I have to cut the door to make room to weld it back in? Does any body make a replacement that could be possibly bolted in? The catalogs that I have do not show anything for the no vent window. Any help would me apprecdiated. You might want to get a mirror and look up in there, it could be as simple as a missing bolt. The doors are the same as the pickups and other trucks, you might get more answers if you ask in one of the other forums. | | | | | Joined: Jul 2005 Posts: 4 Junior Member | | Junior Member Joined: Jul 2005 Posts: 4 | Mine did the same thing and I used a SS sheet metal screw slightly larger to catch it and it drew it in perfectly. I also had everything out of the door and the kick panel removed so it was a little easier. | | |
