I really liked (like) that rig. I bet you're right on the price.

Now don't let your neighbor down the street see this auction. You know the guy. He's the one that's been thinkin' of sellin' the rusty old '48 'burb' in his yard. That would be the 'burb' that you've been drooling over for months. grin

Guys if he let's it go for $75K he'd be losing money!!! It was in all the trade rags as RB's flagship. Mega high dollar shops helped with the build. Makes you wonder why RB would sell unless he's like us "poor guys" that like the challenge of building another. Seems like he would have put it at Barrett Jackson where the high dollar "enthusaist" would have bid it throught the roof if he really wanted to sell it. Maybe a ploy for more free advertising.

There must be something wrong with it. When RB's was still near Seattle it never appeared at any of the local shows.

When I heard they were building it, I kept trying to see it, but as I saw more of the build in magazines I got less interested. I think its probably a great showcase for the builders, and not really much to drive.

Given the prices restored trucks went for at Barrett-Jackson $75K for this might be about right. But it won't be my money!

I saw it at the NSRA Sacremento show in Oct '03. Very nice looking truck! I also question why it was not at Barrett-Jackson last month (or next year). Seems that would be the place to get top dollar. Guess we never know the inside story.
I can't tap into Ebay from the office computer so I'll have to wait until tonight to see if it sells.

I cant figure out why you would sell it unless you way overextended yourself during the build or if there is something wrong. Notice there is no warranty.
I woudl assume some of the individual parts might be warranted still though.

After all of the hype (even before they started to build it it was on their site as a "rendering") I cant figure out why it would be sold.

Don't you know who I think I am?
I've been thinkin' about freaking out. If I could just find the time.

Some of these sellers on ebay really get to me...this Burb has an opening required bid of $50K and then a reserve.I hate reserves! If you've got to get at least $75K why not have an opening of $75K with no reserve. Hey, if you can afford a bid $50K for a truck on ebay than a high initial bid with no reserve sure isn't an issue!.
