I watched some of the Barrett-Jackson auction last weekend. Big Money there. I got on line and looked through the auction list, there were a couple of Suburbans. The one I looked at (Lot #656) was a 1949 Chevy,good looking stock restoration, not perfect. They put some exterior hinges on the liftgate (ugly) and pickup taillights down on the rear bumper (no cool bullets) .

It went for $50,XXX thats fifty thousand and some change
I think the other one want for $4X,XXX (i think 45,something).

I thought that some of the auction results were pretty weird. It seems like Sunday bids were way down in price. I saw a very nice 31 Lincoln go for a lot less than I would have expected.

Was there a green AD sub there? There was one on Ebay a few weeks ago that didn't sell. It wasn't perfect but pretty close.

This was a totally 'No reserve' Auction

That means that before you sell your 'Whatever' for less than you have in it you must buy it and be the high bidder

If you looked at the stage it was full of USED CAR DEALER types doing just that!

If you cut a good deal with the Company you can run your stuff thru at a 'per head' price and the company makes their money outta the buyer's 8%

This business has a lot of 'Game in the Game' stuff much of it not fair to folks sittin biddin'
