I just replaced the rubber around my wing windows, Now there is a gap at the top and the bottom of the inner frame overlaps the rubber at the bottom. The following pics are taken with very little tension on the spring probably not enough to keep the windows open while driving. If I tighten up the tention the problem gets worse....Anyone else ever have this problem?? How can it be fixed??

Looks like the glass frame is possibly out of shape. I notice there's no glass in it, perhaps once there's glass in the frames, which will help tham maintain their proper shape, they'[ll seal up better.

When I pulled the wings out of my 55 2nd to replace the glass I had the same reaction. Remember that you have them out of your truck. The frame will get bent out of shape. When I put the frames back in the truck I found that I had to bend/staighten the frame to fit the door. I found that when the wing frame was finally screwed back into the door that they staightened out. With a little adjustment on the tension spring you will find that moving the inner frame up and down will play out your gap on top and bottom.

Longbox, that was my first reaction as well ...I test fitted the glass and it fits perfectly.

I guess I'll try to mount it in the door and see what happens.
