Lots of work on Brad's part ... pure enjoyment (and references) for you!

For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Oct 2007 Posts: 45 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Oct 2007 Posts: 45 | Are all 3100 hoods the same from 1947 to 1954? I'd like to purchase a used hood for my 1954 3100.
Just Very Confused
Finally '54
| | | | | | Anonymous Unregistered | | Anonymous Unregistered | JVC, The hoods from all years of AD trucks are shaped the same and can interchange. The difference lie in how the badging is mounted. The 54 front hood emblem will not fit the holes on earlier year hoods. The side emblems will fit but you will have some extra holes depending on the year hood you are using.
Welcome to the Stovebolt. If you have not already submitted picture of your truck for the gallery you should try to send some in so we can see where you are starting from.
One thing to remember about AD hoods is that they are the same for 1/2 ton to 1 ton but are different when you get above 1 ton models. | | |
