I have square shoulder bolts with flat washer, lock washer, and nut. I have rubber spacers and a small flat peice of metal with square holes in it.
I image it can either have the flat metal piece on top of the core support or under the core support.
Right now I have bolt running through the flat peice then the core support, then the rubber spacer, then the frame with the flat washer, lock washer and nut completing the assembly.
Looking for either confirmation or correct sequence.

Under the core support, it would act as a shim for your hood to grill alignment. On the 41-46 trucks there are also springs installed on the core support mounting bolts below the frame crossmember to allow some flex in the front end, similar to the way the cab is mounted. | | |
