No two speed rear, no driveshaft ebrake. Does that make it a 4400? Is there a 4100 series also? Help! Now that I'm warmin' up, where do I get PTO parts and seal kits for the trans? Last, does anyone have a bellhousing suggestion that will adapt the original 4 speed to a 327 or 350 and keep the 2 rear xmember original banjo style mounts? I have a 51 3/4 ton (327, 4 spd) that someone did a good conversion on, keeping the 2 rear mounts stock. They just made a new x member for the original front mount, moved it back a couple inches and bolted it to the frame. The single front motor mount on the 327 is 1" stock bolted on both front sides of the block, and U shaped with the orig rubber mount attached. I need another bellhousing jus' like that beauty tho, to make the 48 the same way. Maybe I can look for the casting #'s and cross reference to the vehicle it came from. Any cross reference websites out there? | | |
