For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Aug 2007 Posts: 121 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Aug 2007 Posts: 121 | yesterday was a great day. my uncle told me he was hauling s poor old 50 chev to scrap and to come down and get stuff i wanted. i got to spend the day at the coast and get the last few remaning good parts off the truck. i got my front bumper brakets good front turn signal lenses. and other small parts.the were good running board brakets and frame stuff but the fear of tetenitus scared me away. the poor truck is so rusty the cab was falling on top of it self and the front fenders fell off when i leaned on them.all it cost me was a little gas money and the parts were free what a great day. i felt so bad for the poor old truck that my dad used to drive many years ago
gotta love old trucks

The parts you use on your truck will always be a reminder of your dad driving that truck. All I have left of the 67 Chevy II that I drove in college is the horn button. It serves as a reminder of great times and I would never part with it. | | | | | Joined: Jun 2006 Posts: 272 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jun 2006 Posts: 272 | 53chev, my truck is a daily reminder to me of my wonderful father. Most people would not even feel the connection of a few humble items and the memories they preserve. It's good that you could rescue what you did from your old stovebolt.
