I plan on getting the shop manual and the assembly manual for the truck. Are there any other books anyone would suggest? Are any of the Chevy truck resto books out there any good? I'm looking for specific info for these modles of trucks, not just resto info that applies to all cars and trucks of any year.

For example, a '49 pickup, model designation 3604, had a max GVW of 5,800lb., shipping weight was 3,520 and the 'delivery price' was $1,372. 1951 3800 Be the change you want to see. -hotshoe
