The fuel pump needs a rebuild (no prob), which is to be expected. Then it's on to the brakes... In '58, they changed over to a county-wide library system, and the bookmobile was in service till 1991, when it was parked.
It will have 1955 and earlier books on many of the shelves, and a travelling automotive "research library".
Plans are to have it ready for the Anderson (SC) Public Library's 100th & the County Library's 50th anniversaries in the summer of 2008.
It's gonna be a blast to get it done!
