I am going through a title service and need to know if this is correct. I put it through the vin decoder and it doesn't reconize it.

Click on the "search" link under the "Post New Topic" button. Put VIN in the search box. After you read all of those put "title" in the search box. You'll find hours of reading on this subject.

They might let you use the serial number, they might not.
