I've been told there are 30 some odd separate weld spots holding it in there.
The instrument cluster comes out, the glovebox door comes off...

And none of them are especially easy to remove or in a comfortable place for you to get to them. But everything will come out of it like Woogeroo said. The instrument cluster, glove box and door, radio, wiring, heater box and hoses, speaker and all the bits of wire making it all work. They come out with enough determination. | | | | | Joined: Dec 2003 Posts: 1,554 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Dec 2003 Posts: 1,554 | THX for the replies. I will let it go til this fall. I might be able to mask everything off and paint it in place. This is a truck I just traded for,and the guy who put it together did everything really nice. He did however let the dash go as is. I have a possible deal ( trade ) working for a car right now. If I dont trade it this summer I will probably make a few imoprovements on it over the winter. | | |
