Well folks it's been a while since I posted. I've been busy with family life, work and truck, in that order. I've posted a few progress pictures on my link for your entertainment.

Installed a Heidt's IFS, 3.08 rear end out of a 78' Firebird, master cylinder and will be working on the rear disc brakes. After that, it's moving the gas tank to the bed and steering column. I've got to figure out the radiator and if I want to add A/C as well.

I'm hoping I'll be able to have it drivable by the end of July, but for sure end of summer. I'm "Jonesing" to drive my truck before the snow flies.

Skraps,
Welcome back. Sounds like you are getting some traction on the project. Sure would like to see the pics but the webshot link is not bringing them up.
As for the radiator you should be able to find an aftermarket one for less that $300 that will do the chore but the original radiator may do just fine if it was for a V8. I have also seen radiators from other vehicles retro fitted into that series.
Sounds like you have a lot to accomplish in a short period of time. Good luck and get those pictures working so we can enjoy your efforts.

I don't know what the issue is with the pictures. I hit the link and get to my Webshot site and view my pictures without a problem.

Thanks for the tip on the radiator. My current is some after market brand that is pretty beat up.
