On the '62-'66 hoods, the lower panel that houses the marker lights/turn signal housings is different between Chevy and GMC. Look at examples in the gallery to see what I mean. The shape of the lights is different, and the openings in the leading edge are different.
The cowls on the '60-61 Chevy and GMC also have different inserts. Again, they're all interchangeable, just not "correct." I'm going to put a '62-'66 GMC hood on my Chevy, because I like the look of the openings.

I thought very hard about doing the same thing with my '62 Suburban, but was over-ruled by The B's...The Boss and The Boy. I did swap in a '60 4-headlight grille though, and love it.

The four lamp grilles look pretty slick.

You have seen my rigs and know that I am a purist. I prefer the stock appearance of the '64-'66 Chevy trucks over the others of the era, however the four lamp grilles look good, as well.
Do you have any updated pictures of your '63 Chevy K10? We need to see the progress.
