I really don't want to cut any holes in the cab for speakers. Any recommendations on what type of speaker,size etc. would be helpful too. I'm not looking for anything elaborate,just decent sound and I already bought a Pioneer stereo/cd player for it.

They work pretty good and keep your cab sheet metal intact. Good luck. We have the front speakers in the original spot. We use a remote to turn the radio on and off. Ran 2 triaxial 6x9s in boxes under the seat so as not to cut anywhere. Sounds like shat. Probably needs an amp or some mid or tweeters in the front.If you have sound deadened your cab and maybe a carpet kit that should also help.
Get some of the tinny sound out.

Think that they were meant to be set on a rear window shelf. Guess that they were about 8 inches long and four inches in diameter. Hooked the wiring up to them and kinda squeezed them into the cab corners on either side of the seat down towards the bottom of the cab corner well. Sound is great, each person can get totally blasted if I crank the radio up. | | |
