I'm ready to finish the re-installation of my engine and am down to re-filling the front universal bell housing. Is there a fill hole or can you do it through the speedometer drive gear and if so how?

Thanks

evergreenw,

Is there a square head pipe plug near the rear of the transmission on the passenger side? Remove the plug and fill with transmission lubricant (SAE 90).

On an automatic transmission, the book says to pre-lube thru the speedo gear hole. About 3/4 cup if I recall.

I found that using a siphon (spelling?) bulb and tubing to slowly pump the fluid in worked well.
