Here are some pics of GrandpaGlenn's very nice '54 1/2-ton and Wally's '48 3/4-ton at a recent meeting of the Missoula Chapter of Stovebolts. It's too bad Stevejumpr isn't in town with his '55 1st but we hope things are OK with him in Kuwait. Picture 1 Picture 2 Picture 3 1948 3/4-Ton 5-Window Flatbed Chevrolet 34 Years. I think his truck is stored in Ohio. 1948 3/4-Ton 5-Window Flatbed Chevrolet 34 Years. Congratulations on your well-earned retirement; you did some great things out there and will be missed I am sure. Peg, Yes I am still around, but have been deployed over in Kuwait for nearly two years now. I am finally getting ready to return in a couple weeks and it will be great to get back with my wife and boys again. The truck is still around, but in storage in Wyoming now with my folks. We are trying to put together a visit to the truck, I mean to visit my parents, once I get back Thanks for asking about me by the way. Sorry I have dropped off the radar for a while, but things are extremely busy in this part of the world right now. I will be around more often soon enough though. Steve

What part of Wyoming? We were just barely in the state at Alpine last week.
I still can't help looking at your garage when I pass your place. It's a reflex action.
And thanks for your work over there! 1948 3/4-Ton 5-Window Flatbed Chevrolet 34 Years. Now with a '61 261, 848 head, Rochester Monojet carb, SM420 4-speed, 4.10 rear, dual reservoir MC, Bendix up front, 235/85R16 tires, 12-volt w/alternator, electric wipers and a modern radio in the glove box.
