There are a bunch of parts there, but it all busted. Can the trans be used without the governor functioning? Does anyone happen to have one they could spare?

This will allow for it to be used as a gear splitter, so you'll actually have 6 forward gears. You will have to remember to disengage the solenoid before you take off in first and also before putting it into reverse.

I'd try to find a govenor just to have one less thing to remember to do while driving. One of the guys that contributes to the forum is very sharp on the old Borg Warner OD's and I think has OD parts. Someone can probably remember his name.
