Only the badges say Chevrolet, after 1939 they were G.M.C. powered and had G.M.C.s motor wheels. There production started in the early 30s and finished in 1950, I have four of them a 37, a 43, a 46, and a 50. They are Canadian production, I believe a 1600 would be a 2 ton.
