I started on the 65 C30 by changing some fluids and filters. The new fuel filter is paper the carb has the stone filter (230 6 engine) The paper filter did not seem to fit well in the cap on the carb so I put the old filter back it looked clean and I did soak it in gas for a bit not sure if that did anything. I think I will install a inline filter before the fuel pump and leave in the old filter in the carb. Anyhow to get to my question does anyone sell replacements for the stone filters ?.
As I type this I realize a introduction may be needed I just picked this truck up a last week its a 65 C30 230 6 cyl, 4 speed manual trans, so still going over it. While this is a new truck for me I do owner a number of other old trucks (79 GMC 3500 and 2500,46 63 64 76 dodge and a few willys trucks )

Most parts houses have the sintered bronze filters,
or you can always get one from yer local dealer..

That,s the way I always do one. Putting an inline filter between the tank & pump where it can,t be seen. They are ugly. & A stock filter in the carb. The brass filter should be available at any parts store.
