For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Apr 2006 Posts: 20 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Apr 2006 Posts: 20 | Today i woke at about 3am waiting for my work to call and it never did but I actually got a lot of work done. I ran the last of the wiring for my headlights and turn signals and a few other things that were left over like the grill had to be mounted. Now all I have to do is test everything out like starting I kinda hope it doesnt so I wont drive it in the rain. When I first started the project 3 years ago I never thought that I would have went this far this fast but I also never thought of the money I would spend to this point. For a truck that originally sold for a little more than 1300 it is unreal. But I must say I will miss the long days chasing parts searching ebay, searching here that is something that I will still do. I just wanted to say thanks to everyone I bought parts from and the few I sold too everyone helped me a little along the way now my great grandads truck will shed the 1980 license plates and hopefully within the month it will have the new 2007 vintage. | | | | | Joined: Mar 2007 Posts: 3,374 Crusty Old Sarge | | Crusty Old Sarge Joined: Mar 2007 Posts: 3,374 | You know that your never really finished don't you. I can't wait till i get to the point your at, mine has been apart a lot longer than 3 years though. Good luck, and I'm sure your Great Grandad would be proud.

I have pics I gotta get them up. the worst thing was the truck was missing about 80 percent of the hard to get parts and I had to buy most things and I had a bed get stolen that sucked but luckily I managed to find a good donor bed and then found some sides and started over there. like I said almost done I have to get down to the muffler shop and have exhaust put on then I will get the inspection done then off to the license office I will go one thing for sure there arent alot of these 60's runnin around | | | | | Joined: Mar 2006 Posts: 114 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Mar 2006 Posts: 114 | | | |
