#23095 02/05/2002 6:32 AM | Joined: Feb 2001 Posts: 41 Member | | Member Joined: Feb 2001 Posts: 41 | I have noticed that some 235s have valve covers that bolt to the head around the outside of the valve cover (as is common on most engines), while some bolt on two big posts that come up through the middle of the valve cover. Does anyone know which years used which?

In 1954 [ & some late 53's ] The high pressure 235 was introduced & the valve cover used the 4 bolts on either side. | | |
