Howdy Folks,

I'm going to pick up my 58 GMC next weekend but before I go I have to find some wheels for it so I can get it onto the trailer.

The problem is that the truck is about 650 miles away so I have to pick the wheels right on the first try.

Which truck should I steal the wheels from?

6 lug rims from a 1/2 Chevy 4X4 will fit, They are the same bolt pattern as Nissan's and Toyotas 4X4 as well. You should be able to locate some wheels at a local wrecking yard for a few bucks.

Don't use the jap truck wheels. They will not fit correctly as the offset is wrong.

Late 80's & early 90's Chevy utility vans wheels work. That's what's on mine right now. I'm looking for something just like that in a 16". Any ideas?
