Has anybody ever hooked up an air conditioner pump to there 235?? If so where did you bolt the brackets on too etc? I might have to use 2 of the head bolts for the bracket..is this recommnded? Any info or pics would help!! It's not going to be used for a/c but i am using it for an air compressor pump for my air bag suspension. Thanks smile

Use electric compressor, forget this thought entirely.

That's what i have now and it "blows" haha. Actaully it does not blow enough. I want to use a a/c compressor i already have it and it should fill my tank in about 30-60 seconds. I don't want to buy a bigger electic one for $300 when i have a FREE york a/c pump that will be mush faster and less quiet than an electric one. smile

Check with some of the vendors. I know they make a bracket to mount an A/C compressor on a 235 (kind of pricey though). Patrick's of Arizona is a good place to start. This setup mounts the compressor high on the engine above the alternator and does not require you to find a double groove balancer or fan pulley.

I don't know of any companies that sell a york bracket for a 235. Kilby Enterprises has loads of good info on yorks, though, so you might contact them. I ran mine of the PTO, which works fine, but you have to be stopped to engage the PTO. Running it off the engine is definately a better option, so you can have air on the fly.
