Looking to find the correct tire size for my truck,
looking for the old (7.50 15 example) bias tire size
and the Metric Radial equivilant (LT235/75r15 example), I want to put wide whitewalls on the truck
as I have Chrome narrow trim rings and the factory style Chrome GMC lettered hubcaps, I presume a taller tire will lower Tach RPM's at HWY speeds.
Also looking for a good vintage tire supplier in B.C. Canada. Thanks smile

I like the Yokohama 700R15LT on my Chev - good height , appropriately narrow - a little harsh with no load cuz they're 10 ply, but it's like power steering compared to the fat radials - don't think you'd get them in wide whites

Where can you locate the older tire sizes?

You could check with Cocker Tire Co. They specialize in older tires, Kelley Springfield, Firestone and such. They have agreat selection of wide white as well..
