ive been thinkin when i finsh my truck i prob aint gonna use the bed much so y not tubb it out up 2 the chassie an im putting a 383 stroker an trans unknown at this time make it a right fast daliy driver an thoghts or suggestens

It's your truck. Butcher it as you see fit. The more trucks you guys tear up, the higher the value of the stock ones.

64, I've been there & bought the t-shirt. I had a '82 Chevy stepside that I took the Pro Street plunge with. It was cheaper than building a car this way, but not by much.

Long story short, I spent alot of money on something that wasn't able to be driven as much as I would have liked, got disillusioned & sold it to build a house. Don't get me wrong, I had fun with it, but it got way out of hand.

Being a reformed Pro Streeter, I am going to derive more fun by driving the ever livin' wheels off my '51 3600 as soon as it's in a driveable condition.

Just enjoy it as a clean driver.

if its a stepside its pretty easy to do.theres nothing under the bed in the way.ive got thirteen inch wide tires on mine.that was the widest radials i could find.i used 67-72 fleetside tubs on the inside but they are wider than nessessary.

well ive thought bout it an with gas going up i decided im going 2 make it a 4x4 thats fairly good on gas an also use it as a hunting truck an take the chevelle with the 454 an maybe a 4speed as somthin i can drive ever once in a while or when i can aford gas
