drum question on 4x4

on my 63 4x4 i have 64 hubs and backing plates/ brake assembly. on the front i was messing around, and stuck a drum on for the heck of it, i put a 1/2 2wd rear drum on the front 4x4 hub, it covers the brakes, and seems like it would work, are these different?

1949 Chevy 3600 Flatbed all orginal
1964 gmc 4000
1973 gmc 6000
2005 chevy duramax 4x4
1994 chevy 1500
Trucks are GM and Tractors are Orange

Nope. Drums are the same up to '70, regardless of 2 or 4 wheel drive.
