i got my truck running finally. it's only taken me since last june. i pulled the motor out of a 64 and did a v8 conversion to my 63 4x4. got everything hooked up right new fuel lines and turned the key, with only headers on it it it sounded like a small aircraft taking off, but it's one step closer to drive time

Very nice. Congrats. Pretty loud with just headers but a sweet sound just to hear it fire up.

Congrats! Can't wait to hear mine! I know you are happy to get where you are at.

What are you going to do about exhaust? Drive to the local muffler place, or fab yourself?

thanks for interest fellas, i will take mine to a shop and have them put it on, dual- i want it to sound aggressive and loud, plus my pto shaft for my winch runs almost under the driver's side header. so a muffler guy can make the bends and have fun doing it. not my favortie think to do mike
