Can someone please refer me to a good guy or company that can re furbish my chevy chrome ornaments - not just re-chrome but requires red and blue paint as well if I am right. 57 chevy truck 3100 series. Also would like to rechrome my bumpers (if I can verify they are original) or get new ones and some of the chrome stuff from some after market suppliers is pretty flaky stuff. I am in south Florida. Thanks,

Bob K

At the end of the thread that Cletis sent, there was some good advice: ask your local Harley shop. If they can't tell you who to use, I bet they can tell you who to stay away from!

thanks Bill, I appreciate it. I looked at your truck, very nice. I read the history and glad for you that you ended up on your feet after Katrina. My wife is a member of FEMA search and rescue and has a search dog and she was in Miss and La for 2 weeks each just after the storm. What a mess and you are smart to make the decision to leave it seems. Best of luck,

Bob K

Thanks, Bob. Your wife certainly helped make things more bearable, just to have help on the ground in those weeks in September. I appreciate her being there.

I'm truly blessed.

Bill
