How I determine if the lever action shocks I have are double or single action?

Take the arm loose. Pull up & down on it. If it is hard to move one way & easy the other direction it is single action. Double action will work hard both way,s. If it works easy both ways (more than likely) it is shot.

They say money can't buy happiness. It can buy old Chevy trucks though. Same thing.

A single lever shock has the pivot for the lever near one end of the body the double action has the lever in the middle ans both ends of the shock look the same. Almost all 1.5 tons have double action.
