I have the original 4 speed transmission and I wanna top up the gear lube. I've been filling it from the top tower with the stick removed but there's gotta be an easier way. Plus I don't know if I have the proper level. Silly question isn't it? Maybe I'm not looking hard enough. :rolleyes: | | |

DON'T remove the bolt on the driver's side, it's the pivot for the reverse gear linkage, and you'll have to pull the top of the trans to reinstall it in the right place!
