The old one (had) threads and I called chevy duty because they had one in ther catalog but said that it only fits up to 53's and they couldnt even tell me where I could find one. By the way I have already exhausted all the scrap yards"malls" around me. Any info would be appreciated. | | | | | Joined: Jul 2006 Posts: 584 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jul 2006 Posts: 584 | Hi Cheap,
Welcome to the bolt! You should post this in the swap meet section under parts wanted. That is where you'll have the best luck!

I have the lower box assembly from a 54 column shift that will go into the scrap if nobody wants it. Let me know and I can get you a picture to varify it is what you need.

The threads on my shifting bracket are stripped and it's causing me all sorts of shifting problems, so I either need to find a way to repair it or get a new one. Any suggestions?
My mechanic calls it an oil leak... I call it my truck's 'self-lubricating chassis' feature.
