if main leaf is #1 and OK, how much lift could I expect if leafs 2 and 3 were replaced with new ones. Anybody got any experience on this??
I have access to a couple reputable spring joints near me, and one guy said this would do what i want. | | | | | Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 1,464 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 1,464 | Are leafs 2 and 3 bad? The spring shop should be able to re-arch those to original height. | | | | | Joined: Aug 2004 Posts: 141 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Aug 2004 Posts: 141 | I had the same problem. Since I had the 3200 series with spring helpers, I just disassembled the leaves and stacked in the extras. However, I finally reached the point where that didn't work after adding a rear fuel tank, which (full) drags the rear end even lower. I ended up installing air shocks in the rear. | | |
