For example, I would like to know how many 1950 Chevy 3100 trucks were produced. I am sure you could break that down further into panel trucks, suburbans, pickups, but any information would be helpful. I am not sure that my title or VIN plate used actual numbers, as none of them cross reference with anything, I am guessing it might possibly be the engine number used for the vehicle number.

It's odd.. because the '41 thru '46 trucks have lots of good production information.. not sure why the '47 thru '53 trucks would be any different. A person claimed to have a 'secret source' and posted these numbers.. 1949
