I want to remove the lock cylinder from the ignition switch on my 62 C60. The switch has the "ears" and two holes.

Will the flat face lock cylinder with no ears and one hole exchange with the one in my truck?

I have no key and the switch cannot be placed in the "lock" position.

I have swapped an "eared" lock cylinder for a new "non-eared" one, but all ignition switches may not be the same,,Brian

Can't you just remove the cylinder and take it to your local locksmith and ask him to make a key for it?
Last time I did that it was only about $12.

Joe, thanks, I did not think of taking the door lock out and getting a key made!!!!!! Well, I am here to learn....thanks for teaching me. Yes my understanding is they are keyed alike. Just hate to let everyone see my ignorance.

I cannot seem to get the ignition lock cylinder out, so I focused on that and did not think about the door. My lock cylinder face has the ears on it and I cannot get the lock ring off without taking out the lock set. Plus it was about 11 degrees at the time outside. It's about 21 below this morning. Still no excuse that I missed that. Boy do I wish I had a heated garage!
