I have to set it in the frame and then put it on the truck. I have read all the tech tips but I wanted to make sure I don't miss anything. Mine went back in much easier than I thought and with the new rubber it worked out well. Get someone very flexible and young to lay on the floor of the truck to hook up the crank for you under the dash. I have to get a new crank because mine is stripped but I put it in just to get things moving.

There is a gap at the bottom corners - way less than a 1/4 inch and going up the sides. It seems like the frame needs to be at more of an angle as it is very tight in the middle bottom. I'm wondering if I should bend the frame(with the glass in). I was a little worried about the ones I bought from ACT after hearing people say they needed to bend them because they did not fit right. I put my frame together sans glass first to make sure it fit well and set it on the truck in case I had to bend it. I do not think I would try bending it with the glass in just in case.
A stupid question? You do have your windshield rubber attached to the frame right?

Yes I should have pre fitted it before I put the glass in. Not a stupid question - I do have the rubber on the frame. I just don't want to take it all apart but I may have to. | | |
