Was experiencing severe front left brake lock on my 3600..thought it might be mucked up hydraulics..turns out to be a cracked brake drum..any one got a spare front 8-lug drum '47-'52..hey Rick in Virginia, this is why we need that 3/4 disc upgrade..have you made any further progress?

You might post under parts wanted.

What would be really nice to know here is if it is easy to upgrade to the 1953 setup. The upgrade is already documented for the 1/2 Ton and both 1/2 Ton and 3/4 Ton drums are available new for 53.
