I just received the latest edition of Vintage Truck, and was pleased to find an article entitled'Behind the Scenes at the Stovebolt Page' by Tom Brownell. It is a great story about how the Stovebolt Page was started, and the motivation which keeps this such a fantastic web site. I was pleased to discover that John and Peggy have discovered the wonderful mix of Christmas tree production and old trucks. My 57 looks nice with a backdrop of Fraser and balsam fir.

I for one am sure grateful. Not only is it a fantastic resource for restoration, but fun to talk to everybody. It's like waking up and going to a local coffee shop or something.

Thanks John and Peggy, and all other links in the chain that make Stovebolt possible for us to enjoy!

I need to get a subscription to Vintage Trucks, it is really hard to come by here in the Southern part of the left coast frown So I guess I will have to get it in the mail.

Hope John and Peggy are back on line soon. They do so much for this site and it's members they are missed. The amount of work that they accomplish for all of us is just unbeliveable.
Thanks !!!

I have a subscription but still havn,t got my coppy. That,s the way that 3-4 th class mail is. I don,t like the editor. We had words through E-mail one time but it is a good magazine. I,m glad Peg & John got reconized. They do a great job. See my post in the Greasy Spoon. George

I do not take Vintage Truck magazine but I too am glad to see John and Peg get some well deserved recognition in the larger old truck community. I appreciate them and their hard work to make this site one of the best on the web. I first found this site in late 98 or early 99 and I can hardly beleive how much "it" has grown. Thanks mostly to their leadership in making this a website folks want to visit. Keep Up the Good Work. THANKS smile

John and Peggy are the best. They have been very helpful to me personally via the stovebolt website. I am amazed how much they are able to accomplish in keeping this site purring. I'm glad to see they are getting something in return.

It is nice to see a site revolved around older Chevy trucks. Hope to add information regarding newer drivetrain in older trucks for others to see and use.

John and Peggy deserve all the credit for this great site also Bald Eagle and all the moderators do a great job. I visit every day and every dumb question I have ever asked is answered with patience and sometime a little levity. I could not have got this far on my sub without this site and I appreciate every bolter that is here. Weeds

Well golly, I'm not sure I know what to say to all of this except thank you for those very nice comments!

We're back up and rebuilding what was lost/discomboobulated as a result of the death of the video card, meltdown of the Operating System, etc. We dragged each other away about midnight last night.

Thanks everyone for the encouragement and the support. And mostly for your patience! This is a group effort and you all make it fun.

Regards,
John
