Hans:
Are you giving up on the project? I was hopeful we could do some business together. With regards to your '66 C10 powder-coated frame, is it a complete rolling chassis? Is it a swb or lwb? The were a fewer number of swb frames produced, therefore they are more desireable and more costly to acquire. What is the quality of the powder-coating? Again, there are several variables, however if someone is looking for a good platform to start with, it is worth whatever an individual is willing to pay, within reason.
I recently bought a complete, factory, original '65 C10 rolling chassis (original paint) with new tires, chrome reverse wheels, baby moon caps, a running 350 V8, a Turbo 350 tranny, factory power brake booster, factory automatic steering column, power steering gear box, a good used four-core Harrison factory radiator and a good used factory V8 radiator shroud for $950.00, plus $125.00 delivery on eBay.
