A little while ago I finally got me a '51 GMC 1/2T.
Its great!!!! and I drive it everywhere.
It has 15" 6 bolt wheels that are about 5 - 5 1/2" wide and I need one more for a spare tire.
Is there a wheel off a modern truck like Toyota or mid size Dodge or whatever that will fit the old GM bolt pattern and width and center hole requirements????
This is just for a spare and hopefully I will neever use it.

I think toyota is the same bolt pattern, but the backspacing may be off. The dodge dakota 6 bolt is a different bolt pattern completely.
If I was looking for wheels for your truck I would probably look for any 1/2 ton wheel up until '72 or any 1/2 ton wheel from a '73-86(87?) Chevy 4x4. Those will all bolt on, now you have to find the correct size.

The later ones have the same bolt pattern, but the offset is wrong, as you'd see if you tried 'em. Ask me how I know . .
