I think he said it was from a -63.... numbers on a pad down by the dist. are " f03iipk" does these help in identifying the engine? My main question is whether it is a 230 or a 250. Any and all help appreciated...

I think there is a visible difference between the 230/250 and the 292 in the appearance of the lifter side cover, true? If he could shoot us a pic of the right side of the engine, we should be able to see the difference. I'll ask for a pic. Thanks for the quick response there Longbox !
