My uncle bought this truck new in '51. I got it in 1975. It's been torn apart for 20 years. Last Christmas I promised that I would have it running by the end of 2002. Needless to say my uncles have been making nasty comments about my procrastination and I'm trying to silence the rabble :-).

Your firewall color reminds of the zinc chromate they used in WWII aircraft for rust resistance. Motor looks nice too.
PS, if you're looking for some of your wrenches, e-mail me-I can tell you where they are. grin

K10 Oh sure, you can find the big ol' wrenches but you missed the bullet hole just left of the starter linkage. Must have been a tense day and the old truck wouldn't start so the starter got it. All the uncles plead innocent but I have my suspicions. Yes, zinc chromate.
