I have an 82 v8 camaro, does anyone on here know if I can use the front clip on my 54 1/2 ton pickup ??

Too wide and I believe it uses struts but not sure. Check out some of the recent threads regarding suspension options for AD trucks. Best option is an IFS kit.

Don't belive you can Dan. The 67-81 Camaro with the unboltable sub-frame is the one you are thinking of. Your '82 has a cradle/crossmember that unbolts but would not be the same because of the strut type front suspension.

The second generation subframe is also too wide. You will have have to keep the front end up or you will have wheel/tire/fender interferences which after final paint are not good to find out about. Wheel back spacing does not solve the problem. Go to car shows and talk to people who have done the modification before you decide to go that route.
From my personal experience, the IFS kit is the best way to go on the 47-55.1 series trucks.
You can make anything work but it will be a challenge.
