I don't know about the '52, but I would imagine it would be pretty easy to physically remove the dash. I'd say the main issue would be to make sure you've got all your wires, etc. labeled really well. There are probably about 6 or so screws or bolts holding it in. Good luck.

Depending on how much work you want to do, it may be better to leave it in the truck because it is spot welded in.

For all practical purposes, the dash isn't removable.

Mine, although it IS 12 years older, is simply held in by screws. I guess they decided that noone would ever need to remove them. You learn something new everyday. Good luck anyway.
